a- This is Pump House Mechanical Engineer’s Record Book. It is a black, hard cover, hand written record book. The book has a lighter fabric around the spine, with a vertical black decorative pattern. The inside cover is a blue decorative paper. The spine reads "ENGINEER'S // RECORD // W W" in gold text. The dates on the pages range from January of 1902 to December of 1911. Each page has information for the Inglis and Killey engines, such as how many hours it ran and the number of revolutions it did. b- This is a sheet of paper that has pages 6 and 7 on it. It is dated from June 1902. c- This is a sheet of paper that has pages 7 and 8 on it. It is dated from July 1902.
This book was used at the Pump House at the turn of the 20th century. It was used to track the testing of the engines at the pump house.
