a- This is a soft cover book entitled "Audels New Marine Engineers Guide A Practical Treatise on Marine Engines, Boilers and Auxiliary Machinery". It is by Theo Lucas M.E., Frank D. Graham B.S., M.S., M.E., and N. Hawkins, M.E. It was published by Theo. Audel & Co. of New York in 1918. There is a black front cover that says "MARINE // ENGINEERING" in light letters. There is text on the spine, but it has worn away. The back cover is plain black. There is a handwritten label on inside front cover with information about the donor. The book contains information on engines, boilers and auxiliary machinery for boats. The book is divided into four sections; theory, construction, operation, and repair. b- This is a membership card of the Frontenac Society of Model Engineers for Harry C. as a Life Member. It has an illustration of a train at the top of the card, and both typed and written words. The reverse side is plain. c- This is a book page. It is one of the first pages in the book, and contains the preface. There is a "PUMP HOUSE STEAM MUSEUM' stamp on the upper edge of the page. The page speaks to the purpose and ideology behind the development of the book, mainly that it be informative and in clear language. The reverse side finishes the preface. d- This is two book pages. It is page 93-96 of the book. It covers information such as safety valve rules, and safety valve calculations.
