This is a red soft cover booklet entitled "The Boiler Room Handbook". a- This is the front cover of the booklet. The middle of the front cover is red, and the colour on the edges has faded. On the top, there is the title of the book in gold text, reads "The BOILER ROOM HANDBOOK". There is decoration of gold lines close to the edges of the front cover. The inside of the cover is plain and cream-coloured. b- This is the back cover of the booklet. It has a faded red colour and noticeable water marks. The bottom left corner of the cover is missing. The inside of the back cover has a cream-coloured plain surface. c- This is the main body of the booklet. On the front page, the printed black texts read "The BOILER ROOM HANDBOOK// An Engineer's Ready Reference concerning the care and operation of steam boilers, complete with tables and statistics". This booklet is priced for 50 cents. The cover page specifies that the book was published by the Sugar Beet Products Company in Saginaw, W.S. Michigan in 1920. The company produced the Sugar Beet Treatment product to remove scale from boilers, among other uses. There is a black stamp from the Pump House Steam Museum on the top right of the booklet, and a hand-written number in pencil reads "99205101" on the bottom right corner. This booklet provides information for boiler engineers regarding the care and operations of steam boilers.
