A tin ballot box circa 1900 with a hinged lid with door-type padlock hasp at centre of lid to fasten the lid to the box. Stenciled black block lettering "City of Kingston". The box was presented to Mayor Isabel Turner to mark her election as Mayor in the year 2000. A small brass plaque affixed to the box reads "Congratulations Mayor! // Donna and Terry S. // November 2000".
