A metal block plane that is comprised of six parts.
a - The base of the plane is rectangular shaped with a flat base. There is a metal screw at the back of the plane where the adjustment lever screws onto.
b - One of the iron blades that slots into the interior of the plane, and is secured by the depth adjustment lever and another adjustment screw. There is an oblong shaped hole at the top centre of the iron.
c - One of the iron blades that slots into the interior of the plane and sits between the larger iron and cap iron.
d - The cap iron that is used to secure the blade in place.
e - The adjustment screw that screws into the cap iron (part c).
f - The adjustment lever that screws into the screw protruding from the back of the plane.
