Description
A metal block plane that is comprised of four parts.
a - The base of the plane is oblong shaped with a fixed mouth on a flat base. There is a brass depth adjustment lever at the back of the plane.
b - The iron blade of the plane that slots into the interior of the plane, and is secured by the depth adjustment lever and another adjustment screw.
c - The cap iron that is used to secure the blade in place.
d - The adjustment screw that screws into the cap iron (part c).
