Description
A rip saw with a wooden handle and metal blade. The handle has four finger indentations, an upper and lower horn, three saw nuts and a "SHURLY & DIETRICH // GALT. ON. Can." medallion on it. One side of the handle is also decorated with a foliage motif that is carved into the wood along with the initials "J.M" - which appears on both sides. The number "5" is stamped on one side the blade near the heel.
