Description

A wooden garden rake with a wooden head and teeth. The handle is made of a tree branch that splits down the middle and spreads to connect to the head in two spots. The original wood bark texture is visible at times along the handle. The head is a long strip of wood with a square section. 8 wooden teeth protrude from the head, with holes for 2 missing teeth.

History

Garden rakes have flat heads and few teeth. They are used to distribute soil, break apart large clods of dirt, and create rows for sowing seeds.
