Description
An iron logging (raft) dog that has a sharp point at one end and an eyelet at the other. There is orange coloured string wrapped around the eyelet where it meets the point.
History
Rafting logs are used to secure logs in a raft together. The pointed end is driven into the log, than cables are attached to the eyelet end and stretched across the raft to loosely hold it together.
