Wallpaper Fragments, four fragments of wallpaper that was pulled from room 408- previously was the Old Clock Tower Apartment. a) Fragment has an oval shaped pieces of wallpaper with torn/ripped edges on all sides. b-d) wall paper fragments used to be attached as one piece that has now broken into three fragments- one small piece (c), a thicker longer middle piece (b) and a pointed end piece (c), the wallpaper is is attached to a piece of wall that is about an inch thich- the wall component is quite fragile and crumbles easily when moved. The wallpaper is white with a repeating pattern of a green teardrop shaped leaf with dark green veins, a green stem with four off branches each with 7 rounded leafs on it and seven leaves on the top edge of the stem, a black stem with 14 branches (all various lengths) with three red flowers in the centre- the flowers have eight petals and a white centre and a tulip like flower that has a green base and stem with two off shooting leaves and a red tear drop shaped bulb with 5 white triangular pieces going up from the green base and midway up the red bulb. Both fragments have glue residue. Frgament (b) has a seperate wall paper pattern than the rest of the fragments- the background is white with an image of a white and red umbrella with green trees in the background and a blue lawn chair underneath- this fragment has a yellowed residue on it from glue that had been painted over to attach the floral wallpaper pattern- some of this floral pattern can be seen along the side of the fragment.
