The official City of Kingston crest that has been mounted onto a piece of stained and painted wood. The crest is metal and consists of a shield in the centre with 5 alternating wavy lines signifying Lake Ontario with a Martello Tower above. There is a single crown above the Martello Tower. The shield has two supporters a griffon segreant on the dexter and a lion rampant on the sinister. Along the bottom in a banner is "PRO REGE // GREGE // ET LEGE". There is an image of a beaver at the top centre of the crest. The piece of wood that the crest is mounted on is rectangular in shaped and has two black coloured horizontal lines traveling down the left side and two black coloured vertical lines traveling across the top edge. These four lines intersect in the top left corner.
