Description

A bill of sale that is for a 10lb per share interest for the C.P.R. Engine 1095 "The Spirit of Sir John A" that is dated April 1965. a - The bill of sale is printed on a piece of paper with coloured images of the Kingston waterfront in front of City Hall along the top and bottom of the bill. The image at the top is looking out toward Lake Ontario and features Engine 1095 travelling from the left side to the right, with the train station visible in the top right corner. The image along the bottom is looking toward the Kingston waterfront from Lake Ontario and features City Hall in the bottom right corner. The bill of sale is between The Limestone City and Centennial Park Steam Railway Company, the Kingston Jaycees and Mayor Robert A. Fray. The document is signed at the bottom by the President of the Kingston Jaycees and City of Kingston Mayor Robert A. Fray. b - The rectangular shaped, white, paper envelope that the bill of sale is stored in. The envelope is addressed to "Mr. Robert C. Fray" and has "Kingston // Jaycees // Project "67" ' in the top left corner with "Centennial Souvenir // PLEASE // DO NOT // BEND" in the bottom left. There is a postage stamp in the top right corner with a date stamp that reads "KINGSTON // 330 PM // [4 V] // 1965 // ONTARIO".
