A black coloured junior large t-shirt that has “Kingston’s // The Tragically Hip // Since 1984” in grey lettering on the front with two images of gargoyles on either side. The t-shirt has a rounded neck and a white manufacturers tag attached to the back of the interior of the neck. On the back of the t-shirt is the date “20/8/16” in grey.
This black T-Shirt was a commemorative item from the final concert of the Tragically Hip's final tour, the Man Machine Poem Tour, held in their hometown of Kingston on August 20, 2016. The tour was announced on May 25, 2016, the day after lead singer Gord Downie announced his diagnosis of brain cancer. The gargoyles on the front side are a recurring symbol in Hip lore beginning in the 90s and have a remained a subtle symbol of the legendary band.
