Description
The certificate is from the Heat Save Program, a Province-wide Home Energy Conservation Project. It is presented to the City of Kingston from the Ontario Ministry of Energy in October 1986. The certificate is mounted in a black metal frame with glass over it.
History
Heat Save was an initiative undertaken by the Ontario Ministry of Energy in order to lower energy usage in Ontario in the 1980s. The City of Kingston helped out with community service in support of the program and were successful in obtaining this certificate.
