Description
This is a paper cocktail napkin. It is white with a central blue circle, with blue stylized text that reads, "HISTORIC PAST // PROMISING FUTURE // 167300 // KINGSTON". There is red text above the circle that reads “THREE HUNDREDTH ANNIVERSARY”. The reverse side is blank.
History
The area that is now known as Kingston was founded in 1673 with the establishment of Fort Cataraqui, later to be called Fort Frontenac. Thus in 1973, the city celebrated its 300 year anniversary. The production of this napkin indicates that there was city sponsored food.
