Description

This is a flag of Scotland. It consists of a long piece of fabric, sewn together, and a halyard with a small wooden dowel at the end.

History

This flag is connected to the bicentennial of Prime Minister Sir John A. Macdonald's birth in 2015. Bicentennial commissioner for Kingston Art Milnes requested various cities and countries send the flags they flew on the bicentennial on 11 Jan 2015 to Kingston as a momento. This flag was displayed at City Hall for a short period in 2015 in commemoration of the event.
