A watercolour painting featuring a Martello Tower, probably Murney Tower located on the Kingston waterfront. The tower is a circular stone structure with a cone shaped roof, it was built as part of the defence of the city and has a dry ditch around it and an elevated wooden boardwalk to its door. The painting has a gold mat frame and is attached to it by framing tape on the back. The tape has an advertisement for "Gartland's Art Store" which was located at 338 Princess Street, Kingston. In pencil on the back of the painting is the name "Mr.Horsey".
