a- This is a carbon copy on blue paper of a letter to Dr. Hendry C. Connell from E. Horsey. It is dated February 10th, 1951. The letter is single sided. It mentions that there is some information enclosed regarding the location of the Yacht Club. It mentions that hopefully the members of the club will see the value in the building and work to preserve it. The bottom of the letter is missing. The reverse side there is the logo for Simcoe Typewriter papers as well as the number for this specific kind of paper. b- This is a carbon copy of a report. It is titled "Re: Yacht Club Location" and is single sided. It addresses who owned the lot, and how many times it changed hands from 1784 - 1850. It mentions the buildings that had been put up in and around that location. c- This is a carbon copy of the second page of the report. It addresses some of the larger trees in the area, as well as the tendency for people to romanticize of the location of Lord Frontenac when he arrived in Kingston. It also discusses who owned the land between 1865-1880. It is signed "E. E. Horsey, / February 10th, 1951."
