a- This is a single sided, hand written Letter to Mr. Horsey from Mary Chambers. It is dated May 30, 1952. It thanks him for a letter that provided information on "Simcoe House" and the Vallier family. She also thanks him for enclosing a letter from her Aunt regarding John Creighton so she can use the information to put together a book. The letterhead has been removed.
b- This is a carbon copy of a letter to Miss Chambers. It is two-sided, and dated May 29, 1952. It suggests that Simcoe House was the meeting place for the first Executive Council meeting of Upper Canada in 1792. It also encloses a letter from a from a Miss Eleanor Creighton regarding Mr. William Coverdale, Sr.
