a- This is the protocol notes for the royal visit. It is a (two-sided) piece of card stock, with a coat of arms and text in black ink. It is titled “PROTOCOL NOTES FOR / ROYAL VISIT / 27 JUNE 1973”. The text on the first page covers the appropriate dress, and how to address the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, the Lady-in-Waiting and the Private Secretary. The reverse side addresses the protocol of (several different kinds of) presentations to the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. b-c- This is a program for the Civic Dinner. On the front page there is a coat of arms, and under that, instructions for guests regarding dinner. The centre is a floor plan of the Dining Room with a space to mark the guest’s table number. On the back there is more instructions for guests for dinner, as well as for the reception and a dress code.
