A yellowed paper certificate of the 1967 Railway Sale of Share. This certificate has colour images on the top and bottom of Kingston's waterfront. The certificate is a commemorative bill of sale to Joseph A. St. Onge who bought one share in the title of the C.P.R. engine 1095 (also known as The Spirit of Sir. John A.) It is hand-written and is signed at the bottom by President Kingston Jaycees and the Mayor of the Corporation of the City of Kingston.
This certificate was created for the sale of shares for the Limestone City and Centennial Park Steam Railway Company in 1967. It was part of a fundraising effort during Canada's centennial year of 1967.
