Flag

A white felt flag with appliquéd elements and the words "Kingston Carnival" in colourful sequined felt letters. The date "1963" is on the felt appliquéd and sequined "balloons". Other decorative motifs are a Christmas Tree, a car, skis, a bikini, diving flippers, and a blond haired girl. There are several hand-written signatures on the piece, including "Don Manson CKWS-TV", Harold Anderson, Jim Smith, "Your Old Pal Al Brooks CKWS-TV", and other names that are no longer legible. The flag has an opening end with a stitched hem and elastic inside. The appliqués are glued onto the main cap material.
