The photograph was taken indoors and features Marie-Jeanna Bartleman seated in an armchair with Lieutenant General James K. Bartleman standing behind her. Lieutenant General Bartleman wears a dark blue suit, and Marie-Jeanna Bartleman wears a red suit with jeweleries. There is a framed painting behind the couple in the background.
