Certificate

This is a certificate of commendation from the Frontenac Historic Foundation to the City of Kingston. It has a black and white image of the Frontenac County Court House at the top of the certificate. There is black and orange text and writing that reads "Frontenac Historic Foundation // is pleased to award this // CERTIFICATE OF COMMENDATION // to // The Corporation of the City of Kingston // in recognition of the contribution to // the preservation of our architectural // heritage by the diligent renovation of // The Kingston City Hall // and restoration of the historic character // thereby promoting the cause of architectural // conservation in Frontenac County." There are two signature blocks at the bottom, the left one signed by Mary Fraser (President), the right one signed by D R Taylor (Secretary). Below the left signature block is "26 July, 1982" written in pen. On the lower left is a red seal that reads "THE FRONTENAC HISTORIC FOUNDATION" around the edge. There is a red and black border around the edge of the certificate.
