Description

a. This is a book. The book has a hard cover that is made of red fabric. The front and back covers are both plain with no texts. The spine of the book is red, flat, and has golden texts read "Canada's RMC A History of the Royal Military College", "Preston", "Toronto". On the inside of the front cover is a black-and-white photo of the Royal Military College. There is an hand-written inscription on the back of the first page, it was addressed to Mayor Cooper, reads "Thank you for contributing to our conference, promoting two decades of growth for women. We value your experience, and aspire to lead as you have." The inscription is from Stephanie Sister, the chairman of the Ottawa Conference Committee, dated to 11-13 January, 1991. The book is written by Richard Arthur Preston, published by the University of Toronto Press in 1982. It has 415 pages divided into 14 chapters, telling the history of the Canadian Royal Military College from its beginning to its contemporary services up to 1962. b- This is a book jacket. It has a blue front cover and a cream-coloured back cover. On the front, the cream-coloured texts read "Canada's RMC A History of the Royal Military College", "Richard Arthur Preston". There is an image of a golden coin inside the letter "C". On the back, there are three book recommendations in blue text. Inside the book jacket, the blue texts are a brief introduction of the book and a short biography of the author.
