Description

This is a certificate from the founding of the Thyroid Foundation of Canada. The founding was at City Hall, Kingston on July 15, 1980. It lists the names of founding board members. It is done in hand-written calligraphy. It is mounted in a mat ready for framing. On the reverse is handwritten framing information that says it was framed in 1982 and stamped "Glebe Art Studio 2456 Princess Street Kingston Ontario".

The City of Kingston acknowledges that we are on the traditional homeland of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and the Huron-Wendat, and thanks these nations for their care and stewardship over this shared land.
