Plate, Commemorative

A small circular shaped copper plate that has scalloped edge and a recessed centre. On the centre of the plate is an inscription that reads "1914// 1964// GOLDEN JUBILEE// KINGSTON, ONTARIO// 21st BATALLION C.E.F.// FRANCE and FLANDERS// "BATTLE HONOURS"// SOMME 1916-1918// FLERS COURCLETTE// ARRAS 1917-1918// VIMY 1917// HILL 70// PASSCHENDAELE 1917// AMIENS// CAMBRAI 1918// PURSUIT TO MONS// OUR 46th ANNUAL REUNION". There is the crest of the battalion in between the number "1914" and "1964". The back of the plate has the manufacturers' mark on the centre of the base, reads "Fantasy COPPERWARE -AND WROUGHT// MADE IN CANADA". There are 3 black felt pads and a metal hook on the bottom of the plate.
