Description
This document is an 1860 proclamation celebrating the visit of the Prince of Wales. It is a colour document, with black, blue, red, orange and green ink. It is dated September 4th, 1860. At the bottom is an orange seal of the City of Kingston with "M. Flanagan // City Clerk". There is a small crest at the top of the document.
History
The Prince of Wales, Edward, visited Canada (and Kingston) on behalf of his mother Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in 1860.
