a- This is a hardcover book. The front and back covers both have a plain blue surface. The spine is blue with black text that reads "Ottawa- Our National Capital// Rudi Haas// Oxford". On the inside of the front cover, there are hand-written notes in blue ink, read "Best wishes for a very happy Karnival Season from the First German Mardi Gras Society to the City of Kingston// His Regal Foolishness Prinz Maximilian I of Newfoundland. Her Loveliness Princess Elaine". On the first page, there is a sticker of an illustration of the coat of arms and a signature of Marion Dewar dated to January 31, 1981. The introduction of the book is written by Colleen Anderson Kong, and the photographs are taken by Rudi Haas. The cover page specifies that this book was published by Oxford University Press in Toronto in 1980. This book features Rudi Hass' photographs of Ottawa, the capital city of Canada.
