Description

a- This is a book with a hard cover made of red fabric. The red front and back covers are plain with no texts. The spine of the book is red, flat, and the golden texts read "Armstrong Flora MacDonald Dent." On the front page, there is a hand-written inscription in blue ink, reads " "The City of Kingston / Alvin Armstrong / Oct. 25, 1976". The book is written by Alvin Armstrong, entitled "Flora MacDonald" and published by J.M.Dent and Sons (Canada) Limited in 1976. It has 217 pages, dividing into six parts to tell the story of Flora MacDonald. The book highlights MacDonald's experiences and political influence as the candidate for leadership of the Progressive Conservative Party of Canada. b- This is a book jacket. On the front cover, there is a coloured photograph of Flora MacDonald. There is also the title and the name of the author. The back cover is cream-coloured and plain. On the inside of the book jacket are two black texts, including the introduction of the book and the biography of the author.
