This is a soft cover red booklet. The front cover is red, with a black and white photograph that takes u the majority of the cover. On the photograph, in white text, is "H. W. POORTERMAN / THANK YOU CANADA". There is a Canadian flag under the text. The spine is red, with white text that reads, "H. W. POORTERMAN THANK YOU CANADA". The back cover of the book is plain red. The booklet contains seventeen brief chapters which reflect a survey of the resistance in occupied Holland and the stories of the Canadian forces liberation of Holland. The book was commissioned by the Thank You Canada Nijverdal chapter.
