The book has summaries of the Governors-General and their wives. The book was printed and bound y Ryerson Press. b- This is a red book jacket. The front panel is red with black text that reads "CANADA'S / GOVERNORS-GENERAL / LORD MONCK / to / GENERAL VANIER / Centennial Edition". Below that is a illustration of the Senate Chamber with all the Governors-General from 1867-1959 standing in the foreground. Below the image is the author's name in black, block letters. The spine is red with black text that reads, "CANADA'S GOVERNORS-GENERAL - Centennial Edition COWAN". The back panel is white with a key to the who's-who of the picture on the front panel.
