Plaque

This is a wood and metal plaque. The main body is varnished wood, and the edges are painted black. The face has an engraved metal plaque. It reads, "MERGER OF THE // ONGWANADA HOSPITAL // AND THE // L.S. PENROSE CENTRE // OFFICIATED BY // The Hon. Keith Norton // MAY 7, 1977 // KINGSTON, ONTARIO". The reverse side has some hanging hardware and a maker's mark. Under the mark is a small engraved metal plate that reads "PRESENTED TO // MAYOR KEN KEYES // BY THE // Board Of Governors // Ongwanada Hospital".
