a- This is a model engine. It is made of metal. It consists of a red base, a black cylinder for the coal, a brass boiler with a wheel and a blue stack at the top. The red base is square, with the an illegible brand name in yellow on the front. On the underside of the base it says "Made in Western Germany" There are four holes, one in each corner of the base. The black section has several holes for air flow, as well as a space for the body of part b to rest. The boiler section has a wheel on one side of it, and a piston on the other. At the top there is part of the piston mechanism, a miniature whistle, a blue stack, and a cap. b- This is a spoon meant for moving coal into the model. It has a body and handle, both of which are black.
