A metal crest of the HMCS Margaree mounted on a wooden plaque. The crest is circular in shape with a painted gold coloured edge resembling a robe, and it has 3 gold maple leaves at the bottom of the outside edge. The centre of the crest has a blue background with 3 white wavy diagonal lines crossing it. There is a flower of the Marguerite (daisy proper) on top of the 3 lines in the middle. At the top of the crest is a gold coloured crown with the sterns of 3 ships and 2 white sails between them. Below the crown, there is the name "MARGAREE" in black lettering on a white background. There are 2 metal screws on the back of the plaque.

HMCS Margaree was a St. Laurent-class destroyer that served in the Royal Canadian Navy and later the Canadian Forces from 1957–1992. She underwent conversion to a destroyer helicopter escort (DDH) in the mid-1960s and was officially reclassed with pennant DDH 230 on 15 October 1965. The vessel served until 1992 when it was discarded, sold for scrap and broken up in 1994.
