Certificate

A cream coloured certificate entitled "PARTNERS IN EDUCATION// Adopt-a-School Program" on foam core. On the top left of the certificate is the black coloured crest of Queen Elizabeth High School, and on the top right is the black coloured coat of arms of the City of Kingston. The inscription on this certificate reads "CITY OF KINGSTON does hereby make, publish and declare this a Declaration of Partners in Education with QUEEN ELIZABETH COLLEGIATE & VOCATIONAL INSTITUTE// Now, therefore, the parties herein agree to pursue the mutual enriching relationship with all the pleasures and benefits thus derived being assignable ultimately to the primary beneficiary of the partnership, the community. In witness, thereof, the parties hereunto execute this Partnership in Education on this the 13th day of April, 1988". There is a gold coloured seal of the City of Kingston on the central bottom of the certificate. On the left side of the seal are faded hand-written signatures of the Frontenac Board of Education, the Principal of Q.E.C.V.I, and the Co-ordinator of Partners in Education. On the right side of the seal are faded hand-written signatures of the Mayor of the City of Kingston, the Administrator of the City of Kingston and the Co-ordinator of Partners in Education.
