A soft cover book entitled "Rideau 150 // Souvenir Book // Rideau 150 // Livre commemoratif". The book contains newspaper clippings of celebrations the 150th Anniversary of the completion of the Rideau Canal. The front cover has the title in both English and French above a photograph of "Colonel By" on board of boat. At the bottom of the cover are three different logos for the Rideau Canal. There is a small red dot on the bottom left corner. The reverse cover has three photographs of crowds around the canals. The logos for the Government of Canada and Parks Canada are at the top.
