A blue soft cover book entitled "Historia de Merlo// 1536-1864// Desde sus origenes hasta la creacion del Partido". The book was written by Pedro Arturo Diaz and published by the Municipalidad de Merlo in 1994. The front cover has a blue background with a stylized image of a clock tower on the left. On the right of the front cover, there is "HISTORIA DE MERLO" in white lettering on the top, followed by "1536-1864" in pink on the middle. The black text on the bottom reads "Des sus origenes hasta la creacion del Partido". The author's name "Pedro Arturo Diaz" is on the central top edge. The spine and the back cover are both white with a plain surface. This book introduces the origin and the history of Merlo and the creation of political parties in Merlo, Argentina.
