Description

Two newspaper clippings describing how Kingston's town crier, Chris Whyman, won the North American Town Criers competition in 2000 and the International competition in 2001. The clippings are from the Kingston Whig-Standard. There is a handwritten note on the backing that dates the clipping and names the newspaper.

The City of Kingston acknowledges that we are on the traditional homeland of the Anishinaabe, Haudenosaunee and the Huron-Wendat, and thanks these nations for their care and stewardship over this shared land.
