a- This is a hardcover brown book. On the front cover in words "Old Oakville" are written in golden texts. On the spine, there is golden texts reads "Old Oakville". The back cover has a brown and plain surface. The copyright page specifies that the publishers of the book is John White and Anthony Hawke, and it was printed by Heritage Press Co.Limited in 1979. This book is a character study of the old buildings in Oakville that were built from 1829 to 1893. The forty-five entries of buildings are organized chronologically by their completion time. In each entry, there is a text written by Suzanne Peacock on the left page, explaining the history of the building, its original habitants and the architectural style. Some of the buildings have old archival photographs. On the right page, there is an architectural portrait drawn by David Peacock. b- This is the brown book jacket. On the front panel, there is an architectural drawing of a house in the centre. The title of the book is written in silver and white texts, reads "Old Oakville: A character study of the town's buildings and of the men who built them." The names of "DAVID & SUZANNE PEACOCK" are on the bottom of the front panel. On the spine the texts are "Peacock Old Oakville White Hounslow". The back panel is brown and plain.
