a- This is a green hardcover book with a stylized image and white texts on the front. On the front cover there is a title in white texts, reads "50 Jahre Trachten-, Heimat- und Brauchtumspflege". On the left side of the title is an image of a wooden house with a ribbon and a city on water. The black inscription on the bottom of the ribbon reads "Gear 1932". The back cover is green. It has an image of a tapestry of a man and a woman standing in front of a wooden box that contains a cross. The spine has "Dreiflusse-Trachtengau Passau e.V. - Gauchronik" written in white texts. The book is written in German, featuring traditional/folk costumes in different regions across Germany. It has 162 pages with texts and images. On the inside page of the back cover, there is a pocket on the bottom right corner to hold a map. b- This is a map that is found on the inside of the back cover. It has a title in black lettering, reads "Gaugebietskarte des Dreiflusse-Trachtengaues Passau e.V.". The map is folded into a 20x21.5cm rectangle to fit into the book. On it, there are stylized images of humans, horses, trees and buildings. The names of different regions are listed in German. There are black and blue decorative patterns close to the edge of the map.
