The back cover has a plain cream coloured surface. The title page indicates that this book was researched and written by Richard Wilbur with the assistance of Irene Scarratt for the St.Andrews Civic Trust Inc. It was printed by Print N' Press Ltd. St. Stephen in New Brunswick in 1984. There is a paper label adhered to the title page that acknowledges the financial assistance of the Governments of New Brunswick and Canada for this publication. This book features a selection of old houses and families in the Loyalist community of St.Andrews with historical black-and-white photographs and illustrations. It highlights the districts of Downtown, Uptown and Cherry Hill in St. Andrews.
