Certificate

A cream coloured single-sided certificate of the 1981 Census of Canada Service Award. On the central top of the certificate is a Canadian national flag with the black words "Statistics Canada" on the right side of the flag in both English and French. The printed black inscription on this certificate reads "1981 CENSUS OF CANADA SERVICE AWARD// Presented to City of Kingston in recognition and appreciation of your efforts contributing to the success of the 1981 Census of Canada". On the lower centre of the certificate is a faded illegible signature of the Minister Responsible for Statistics Canada. There are a number of red coloured Canadian flag logos at the bottom of the certificate with the word "Canada".
