Certificate, Commemorative

An original hand lettered certificate that is printed on a cream coloured card stock. On the central top of the certificate is a black-and-grey image of maple leaves with roots. The grey words on the middle of the image are "1937 FCM 1987". The hand-written texts in black and red ink on the certificate read "To commemorate its membership in the FEDERATION OF CANADIAN MUNICIPALITIEES// Presented to City of Kingston on the occasion of the 50th ANNIVERSARY of the FCM// June 1987" in both English and French. On the bottom, this certificate is signed by President Richard Gilbert and the Executive Director James W. Knight. A gold coloured seal is affixed to the bottom left corner of the certificate.
