Plaque

A metal crest of the HMCS Glace Bay. It is circular in shape with a gold painted edge resembling a robe. At the base of the badge are 3 maples leaves, followed by 1 red and 2 greens. The centre of the badge is divided into 3 triangles. The 2 triangles on the sides are black, while the triangle in the middle is white in colour with a thistle in the center. At the top of the crest, there is a gold crown in the shape of the sterns of 3 ships with 2 white sails between them and lanterns on the ends of the sterns. Below the crown, the name "GLACE BAY" in white lettering is carved onto a black background.
