A shield shaped wooden plaque that has the crest of the Kingston Grammar School mounted on it. The crest has a red background with 3 large gold coloured birds at each corner. There is an inverted silver coloured "V" on the centre of the crest. Inside the shape "V" are 3 blue coloured shells. Below the crest is a gold coloured band with the school motto in Latin that reads "Bene Agere Ac Laetari", which means "work well and be happy" in English. At the central top of the back of the plaque, there is a circular plastic piece with the words "MADE IN GREAT BRITAIN".
