A double-sided nylon flag that commemorates the Canada-Soviet Fit Trek Competition in 1989. Both sides of the flag have a white background with words that are printed in red and black, read "CANADIAN-U.S.S.R. FIT TREK//...TO OUTER SPACE// KINGSTON// KUTASI// Fitness Canada// Government of Canada Fitness and Amateur Sport" in English and French. The words "KINGSTON - KUTAISI" in black lettering are stitched onto the white flag. On the centre of the flag is a circular logo of a cartoon with a beaver carrying the U.S.S.R. flag and a bear carrying a Canadian flag. On the outer band of the logo, the words in red lettering read "CANADA-U.S.S.R. FIT TREK/ L'AVENTURE PHYSIFORME CANADA-U.S.S.R". There is a wooden toggle and rope on the top left corner of the flag. There is a black stamp on the edge of the flag that reads "89 NOV 3'X6' ". Below the stamp is a sewing label with the words "ALL-NATIONS//ALL-LIGHT" and "NYLON" inside a circle.
