A purple coloured, triangular shaped, double-sided fabric pennant. On the front side, there is a white and blue coloured coat of arms of Thurrock on the left and the word "THURROCK" in gold lettering on the right. The coat of arms consists of a shield-shaped crest on the middle that is surrounded by curved leaves and a white bird on the top. Below the crest, the blue motto on the gold coloured banner reads "SECUNDUM// TAMESIM// QUOVIS// GENTIUM" (By Thames to all peoples of the world). On the left edge of the pennant, the fabric is folded over a thin metal rod with round spheres at each end. There are yellow coloured looped fringes on the two long edges of the pennant. The pennant is stiffened with paper or other material between the front and back layers of fabric. The back of the pennant has a plain purple surface.
Thurrock is a city in County Essex England.
