An original signed Human Rights Code in French entitled "Code des Droits de la Personne". It is glued onto a grey piece of card stock. On the central top of the document is a black printed Coat of Arms of the Government of Ontario, consisting of a moose and a Canadian deer supporting a shield of arms with 3 maple leaves, a black bear on the crest, and a Latin motto that reads "UT INCEPIT FIDELIS SIC PERMANE" (Loyal she began, loyal she remains). On the left side of the document are an coloured illustration of the Ontario Legislative Building on the top with a photograph of the Ontario and the Canadian flags on the bottom. The Human Rights Code has original hand-written signatures of Premier Minister William Davis, Minister of Labour R. Ramsey, and Barder C. Purcell, the Chairman of the Ontario Human Rights Commission. This document is dated to 1981.
