The photograph features the side view of the ship, which is sailing on the sea. There are several flags on the ship, and the body of the ship has the number "154" in white lettering. There is a plaque on the centre of the bottom edge of the frame, it reads "Presented to the Mayor and City of Kingston// by the Commanding Officer and Ship's Company Her Majesty's Canadian Ship Resolute// July 1955". There are two round holes for hanging on the left and right side of the frame on the front. There is a yellow paper label on the back of the frame that contains information on moving.
